<p>La prévision météorologique à trois jours prévoit des précipitations intenses à très intenses sur le bassin de la Sirba à partir du 27 Aout. Par conséquent, la prévision hydrologique montre une augmentation des débits avec un pic au-delà de la seuil Rouge estimé pour les premiers jours du mois de septembre.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>During the hydrological season 2020, the Niger River in Niamey reached its uppermost water levels, causing large floods that affected thousands of people and generated damages for billions of CFA Francs. The hydrological station in Niamey on the Niger River dates of 1929. Gauging measures during the floods of 2020, coupled to other measures done during last 5 years, allowed to update the rating curve of the <a href="http://sdicatalog.fi.ibimet.cnr.it:5003/fr/dataset/monographie-hydrometre-bassin-du-niger">station</a>. Therefore, discharge measures, calculated from water levels, are actually available in real time on the <a href="https://www.slapis-niger.org">SLAPIS web platform at https://www.slapis-niger.org</a> thanks to the <a href="https://climateservices.it/progetto/anadia/">ANADIA2 project.</a></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A la date du 15-09-2020 19:00, le niveau d’eau de la Sirba, à la station Bossey Bangou a atteint la cote 757 cm, équivalents à un débit de 1833.55 m3/s, bien en dessus de la cote d’alerte ROUGE fixée à 709 cm. Suivant l’échelle de classification des seuils ce niveau de crue indique que le risque est majeur. Cependant dans les dernières 24 heures le niveau s’est stabilisé indiquant que le pic de la vague de crue est en train de transiter à Bossey Bangou. Les observations faites à Touré par l’observateur SLAPIS à l’échelle colorée indiquent que le niveau rouge a déjà été rejoint. En accord avec le temps de propagation, le pic de la vague de crue rejoindra le village de Touré ce soir et les villages riverains plus en aval dans les prochaines 24 heures. A Garbey Kourou le niveau de la Sirba, ce matin à 3h était de 535 cm, équivalents à un débit de 1431.52 m3/s. Ce débit est le maximum enregistré par la station depuis son installation en 1956, supérieur à celui de 2012 (1403 m3/s) qui avait causé d’énormes dégâts dans les villages de Garbey Kourou et Tallé.</p>
