The Unmanned Vehicles for Research Workshop will be held in Livorno between the 12th and 15th October 2016 in Livorno (Tuscany, Italy). The aim of the workshop is twofold: on one hand it acts toward the ENVRIPlus objectives by giving an opportunity for confrontation and discussion to the many ENVRIPlus RIs that make use of unmanned vehicles as tools for their research purposes; on the other hand it wants to open to the scientific community as a whole and serve as a basis to discuss the employment of unmanned vehicles in research. The workshop will be open to industrial partners as well as a synergy between research facilities and industrial realities are necessary to develop, test and improve any unmanned platform. Topics that will be addressed are:
